Will you struggle against your new reality? Or perish like a dog (fish)?
Autochthys is a fish-themed bullet-hell rouge-like. More hyphenated-adjectives on their way. It was made from scratch (not really) and in one week (not really).
The current build is version ALPHA, and may or may not be eventually finished. While it may be a proof-of-concept in it's current form, we (the programmer) retains some pride in its polish.
Autochthys was created on top of Raylib, and programmed in Odin.
FAQ:
Q: The web build is stuck on a black window.
A: Click the web-build window a few seconds after clicking the start game button. After it loads in, the browser will only start execution if the user interacts with it.
Q: My game is stuck on the intro cutscene.
A: Press E to progress dialouge (see instructions)
Q: Is there anyway to make the cutscenes go faster?
A: Hold X to speed up dialouge, Hold Z to skip (see instructions)
Q: I pressed escape and my mouse and game cursor got de-synced.
A: Pressing escape on web unlocks the mouse, this is a browser thing. Just open and close the inventory to allow the game to recapture it.
Q: When in game my mouse drifts.
A: This is rare problem occuring only on the web build. Try downloading your platform's corresponding executable.
