cool game, the style reminds me of undertale and binding of issac.
the parry thing is quite difficult for me, i haven't been able to do it once.
i really like the dialogue sound design with the different characters, but most especially the darkness text.
i like the music too. however the combat(?) music doesn't loop properly. and i really like the distortion when you die.
this game has a lot of potential! maybe more opportunities to heal, maybe some activated ability unlocks (rapid fire, etc)? keep it up!
